Foreman aligns with Republican legislative priorities, presenting himself as a candidate who would support the current GOP supermajority’s direction while also advocating for the district’s interests. His campaign is largely focused on advancing responsible fiscal policy and driving economic growth.
Ideologically, Foreman holds many conservative beliefs, including supporting the Second Amendment, backing law enforcement officers and first responders, and believing that regulations can hinder economic growth and personal freedoms.
Foreman stated on his campaign website that he wants the GOP primary for the 69th House District to function as a referendum on its current representation, which he criticizes for prioritizing rhetoric over tangible results. Specifically, Foreman’s website says the 69th District seat shouldn’t be about “grandstanding and pontificating. I will go to Frankfort to be a workhorse, not a show horse.”
Foreman’s campaign primarily emphasizes introducing a different approach to the seat. In his campaign announcement, he said that there’s still more potential for progress at the district level, particularly regarding economic development and advancing Republican legislative priorities.
