Jerry Deatherage is an incumbent candidate for the Fort Mitchell City Council, one of eight candidates in total. There are seven seats on the council.
Deatherage is currently in his fourth term on the city legislature. He’s the CEO of Senior Market Team, a company within Fort Mitchell that offers training, marketing and other support services to insurance agents who work with senior customers. He also chairs the city’s finance committee.
Safety and sound financial management were his campaign priorities.
“The upcoming Brent Spence Companion Bridge construction will add significant traffic pressure to our streets, right as we’re seeing more kids getting around on scooters and e-bikes,” Deatherage said. “Protecting our children and residents as they navigate these corridors will be a top priority for me going into the next term.”
He pointed to the development of the Fort Mitchell Gateway project, the impending return of the Fort Mitchell Business Council and the establishment of the city’s investment committee as key accomplishments during his time in office.
“I’d welcome the opportunity to keep serving Fort Mitchell and building on this record,” Deatherage said.
