Gloria Grubbs is an incumbent candidate on the Elsmere City Council. There are 10 candidates running for a spot on the six-seat council.

Grubbs was first elected to the council in 2005 and has been civically active in the community for many years. She formerly served as the chair of the Erlanger/Elsmere Board of Education and was a representative on the now-defunct Northern Kentucky Area Planning Council. She’s also active in her church community.

“I am running again for city council to be the voice of Elsmere’s citizens,” Grubbs said. “I am a fiscal conservative and base all my votes on what is best for the taxpayer.”

As a resident of the city for nearly 50 years, Grubbs said, “I have dedicated my life to serving our community.”

“My first priority, if elected, will revolve around development of Woodside Park, along with more improvements in blight,” Grubb said. “I will also continue to be a fiscal hawk.”
