Cindy Moore has served on the city council since 2018 and is seeking reelection to help complete current city projects, she said in a 2024 candidate interview.

Moore faces Chris Ampfer, Lisa Schmidt Cavanaugh, Steve Cunningham, Joe Heil, Paul Kloeker, Mason Meyer, and Laura Vroegindewey in the Nov. 3 general election.

The most pressing issue in the city today, Moore said, is the city budget and current funds available to continue and improve the city’s public areas. She also said keeping taxes lower and keeping green space in the city is of concern.

“Unfortunately, council members only have control of the budget in the City of Cold Spring,” Moore said in 2024. “I’d like to see each council member be more involved in city business. I’d like to bring back council committees and strengthen the knowledge of current activity within the city.”

Moore said her compassion, confidence, integrity, honesty, courage and self-control make her the best choice for Cold Spring City Council.
