Montano is originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, and was raised in Colorado. He’s worked as a correctional officer and probation officer. He’s also a Navy veteran. These days he owns a small business called Kingdom Men Trucking LLC, according to his campaign website, that serves the Northern Kentucky region.
His website states that Montano is a “a lifelong student of Biblical Scriptures and of America’s founding documents. He believes that faith, freedom, and personal responsibility are inseparable.” It also states that his experience in the criminal justice system has “shaped his belief in accountability, rehabilitation and practical criminal justice reform that prioritizes public safety while creating real opportunities for restoration.”
His website also suggests Montano is in favor of abolishing the federal income tax, returning the election of U.S. Senators to state legislatures, rather than popular elections, and for calling a new constitutional convention under Article V of the U.S. Constitution, which would allow for amending the constitution.
Available information also suggests Montano is in favor of school choice, term limits, reducing “unnecessary government spending and taxation” and bringing “justice and accountability to the mass pedophilia that runs rampant in our nation.”
