Cold Spring Mayor David “Angelo” Penque announced that he will seek reelection, aiming to continue more than a decade of service to the community.
Penque, who has served as mayor for over 10 years, said his decision to run again is rooted in his commitment to preserving the strong quality of life that Cold Spring residents value.
“I believe our community’s common characteristic is our pride in Cold Spring and the desire we have to maintain the quality of life our elected city representatives have worked so hard to create,” Penque said. “It has been an honor to serve our residents, and I look forward to continuing the work we’ve started together.”
During his tenure, Penque said he has focused on maintaining responsible city operations, supporting public safety, and ensuring that Cold Spring remains a welcoming and well-managed community. He said his reelection campaign will emphasize stability, community pride and continued progress on initiatives that support residents and local businesses.
