Fort Thomas native Ryan Grosser has filed to run for Campbell County jailer.

In 2018, Grosser began his career at the Campbell County Detention Center, where, according to his campaign website, he “quickly found purpose in serving others and building camaraderie among his colleagues.”

Grosser attended Saint Thomas School and continued his Catholic education at Newport Central Catholic High School. After high school, he attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, where he earned an associate’s degree.

Current Campbell County Jailer Jim Daley has held the position since 2013, when he was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Greg Buckler. He officially ran for the position in 2015 and was elected. Daley has not yet filed for reelection with the Kentucky Secretary of State.
