The Covington Cryptid Block Party will return for its third year in October to celebrate the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region’s cryptids with activities, photo opportunities, dancing, costumes and other entertainment. The event will also highlight the work of local artists and service organizations.

The event is free and open to the public and will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12 from noon to 6 p.m. on Pike Street between Madison Avenue and Washington Street.

“This annual street festival is intended to add to the unique and wacky Covington vibe,” according to a press release from the event organizers. “It’s meant for people to come, have fun and learn about local art, artists and community groups. As it grows, it lends more support to local individual artists, vendors, non-profits and public service organizations.”
