Drive-thru coffee franchise 7 Brew donated $6,692 to a Northern Kentucky nonprofit after opening its second store in Florence at 7303 Turfway Road.

To celebrate, 7 Brew hosted a donation week from April 10 through 12, where customers could try 7 Brew and “pay what they want” as a donation to the Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center.

The Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center is a Florence-based nonprofit that serves children who are suspected victims of abuse or have witnessed violent crimes.

“We’re so grateful to 7 Brew for this generous donation and collaboration,” Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center. Director of Development Charlotte Boemker said in a news release. “It can be scary for children to share their story of abuse. Support like this helps us meet them with comfort and care, whether that’s fidgets, snacks, or help with food and transportation. It’s partners like 7 Brew who make this possible. We love our community that cares as much about keeping kids safe as we do!”

In addition, 7 Brew will host a “Swag Day” on Saturday, April 25, from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., during which customers who purchase a large drink will receive a free T-shirt.
