Penn Station East Coast Subs is the latest restaurant to open in Union.
The Cincinnati-based fast-casual sandwich franchise is known for its made-to-order hot and cold subs, fresh-cut fries and lemonade. The Union store, located at 124 U.S. 42 directly across from Kroger, is owned and operated by franchisees Keith Gavin, Andrew Brennan and Lachlan McLean under Quaker Hospitality Holdings.
“We want to be the go-to spot when people in Union want a great meal for every member of the family to enjoy right in their own neighborhood,” Gavin said in a news release. “Penn Station stands out because of the quality of the food and the experience we provide. Everything is made fresh and right in front of the customer. Even with other restaurant competition nearby, we’re confident this location will build a loyal following and become a place the community can rely on for great food and service.”
The Union location is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Penn Station was founded in Cincinnati in 1985. The company now has more than 300 locations across 15 states.
