Global agricultural processor and food-ingredient giant Archer Daniels Midland announced a $26 million investment into its CirclePort complex.
ADM’s CirclePort facility handles a variety of functions for the agricultural giant, such as ingredient and flavor production, research and development, and IT support. Formerly, the ingredient manufacturer Wild Flavors occupied the complex until the company was purchased by ADM in 2014.
ADM’s multi-million-dollar investment is intended to boost the company’s capacity, delivery, supply, and consistency of its color and flavor solutions. The investment will include a 3,600-square-foot expansion of its existing facility, with the goal of increasing raw material-handling efficiency by 40%. The site will also undergo upgrades to improve its technological and digital infrastructure.
“We welcome ADM’s new investments in Northern Kentucky,” BE NKY Growth Partnership CEO Lee Crume said in a news release. “The Cincinnati region has a strong legacy of leadership in the food and flavoring industry, and ADM is building on that tradition with investments in an expanded facility and technology innovations to meet evolving consumer demands.”
The investment builds on a $15 million funding infusion into the site in 2025, resulting in a 7,200-square-foot expansion.
CirclePort, situated on the border of Kenton and Boone counties near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, is a prominent regional office park hosting major companies such as ADM, Fischer Homes, TQL, Answers in Genesis, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, and Toyota Boshoku.
