Wayfair has announced over 200 layoffs at its Erlanger warehouse in preparation for the facility’s closing.
Wayfair, an e-commerce company that sells home goods and furniture, has a warehouse located at 1600 Donaldson Hwy in Erlanger. According to a recent notice published through the Kentucky WARN Notice System, Wayfair will permanently lay off 215 workers.
In a letter to Kentucky’s Rapid Response Dislocated Worker Unit, Wayfair announced it would close its Erlanger facility on or around Sept. 30, 2026. The warehouse will be the second facility Wayfair has axed in Boone County. Last October, the company announced the closure of its Florence warehouse, resulting in 218 workers being laid off.
Layoffs are slated to begin on Jan. 1 of next year. Furthermore, none of the workers are represented by a union, according to the letter.
