Northern Kentucky’s first Publix is open for business.
The supermarket is located at 430 Richwood Road in Walton, near the Triple Crown subdivision. It is less than a mile from Interstate 75, making it a prime location for travelers.
We are excited to expand across the Bluegrass state with our first store in Northern Kentucky,” Publix Media Relations Manager Jared Glover said in a press release. “We look forward to our new customers experiencing the Publix difference and being active members of this vibrant community.”
The Richwood Publix features several traditional supermarket departments, including a deli, produce section, seafood section, bakery, meat counter and pharmacy. Publix’s deli counter sells its most famous food item, Pub Sub sandwiches.
In addition, the complex includes an adjacent liquor store that sells beer, wine, and spirits.
The store’s hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Find more information at the grocer’s website.
