Three Northern Kentucky-based startups announced they are relocating their operations to SparkHaus.

SparkHaus promises to be a central hub for Northern Kentucky-based startups, investment firms and entrepreneurial support organizations. Located at 727 Madison Avenue in Covington’s Central Business District, SparkHaus will establish a space for investors, from seed-stage venture capitalists to Northern Kentucky’s largest firms, to interact with growing startups.

The three startups moving into SparkHaus were recently named to Kentucky Inno’s statewide listing of “Startups to Watch” in 2025.

BeyondWill is a modern estate planning platform that allows users to create, manage and keep estate plans up to date. BeyondWill uses technology to tailor plans for impactful life events such as

Builder Backed is a digital platform that aims to simplify homeowners’ lives by connecting them with a network of service providers for tasks including maintenance, repairs, and improvements. In 2024, the startup inked a deal with Erlanger-based Fischer Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in Greater Cincinnati.

Sunflower Fuels is a startup that develops bioenergy feedstock crops. Sunflower aims to support markets like renewable food packaging and animal bedding while positioning for future demand in bioenergy, biodiesel, and sustainable aviation fuel.

BeyondWill, Builder Backed and Sunflower Fuels will join Covington-based venture capital firm eGateway Capital, entrepreneurial support organization Blue North and wellness startup Better Blend in SparkHaus.

SparkHaus is currently under construction and is projected to be open in late summer 2025.
