Cattleman’s Roadhouse in Walton opened officially on Monday, the restaurant confirmed to LINK nky.

The Shelbyville, Kentucky-based steakhouse franchise’s new location is 12910 Frogtown Connector Road.

Lebanon, Ohio-based real estate brokerage the Schueler Group announced the new location in a Facebook post in February.

“Cattleman’s Roadhouse has broken ground and is moving dirt on its newest restaurant in Northern Kentucky! The restaurant will join several new hotels, Longnecks Sports Grill and Caliber Collision at the Richwood Road exit on I-71/I-75,” read the post.

Restauranters Bill Hisle and Stuart Meredith opened the first Cattleman’s Roadhouse in Shelbyville in 2006 after the closure of Bistro 535, the duo’s first business venture. Cattleman’s Roadhouse has since expanded to 10 locations — nine in Kentucky and one in Indiana.
