Frontier Airlines has launched two nonstop routes from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Frontier Airlines now offers two nonstop routes from CVG starting in the spring: one to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport and another to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

“We’re pleased to already see nonstop service being added by Frontier since their announcement to open a crew base at CVG this year,” CVG CEO Candace McGraw said in a press release. “We look forward to the community taking advantage of this additional service to two popular destinations.”

The service to Minneapolis-St. Paul is scheduled to start on May 16 with a flight frequency of three times per week, while the service to LaGuardia kicks off on April 10 and flies daily. Fares for both are starting for as low as $19.

The new services at CVG come amidst a flurry of expansions for Frontier, as the budget airline is extending operational services to 38 airports this spring.

“This is a massive expansion of our operation from coast to coast and internationally as part of our focus on growing in underserved and overpriced routes,” said Josh Flyr, vice president, network and operations design, at Frontier Airlines. “More destinations and greater frequency means a larger number of consumers will soon be able to enjoy Frontier’s convenient, affordable ‘Low Fares Done Right.’”
