The Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Co.will host its 7th annual 12 Pubs of Christmas Holiday Hop & Pub Crawl on Dec. 13 in downtown Newport.

This year 12 Pubswill once again be teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program. There is no registration fee, but participants are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy that will then be distributed to local kids over the holidays.

“We’re expecting more than 300 participants, so this is shaping up to be one of the wildest—and biggest—holiday pub crawls in the area,” said Wiedemann’s Jon Newberry. “We’re honored to be joining with the Marine Corps to help make it a great Christmas for lots of great kids. And we’ll have loads of fun at all these great drinking spots in Newport, the hottest spot for nightlife along the river.” 

The party starts Saturday at FlashBack’s Dance Club, located at Newport on the Levee.

Specials on Wiedemann’s craft-recipe lager will be offered at each of the 12 participating pubs.

Participants are encouraged to pre-register here.

Space is limited. The first 300 people to reserve their spot will have a chance to receive a Wiedemann’s 12 Pubs T-shirt.
