Police are searching for a man on Alexandria Pike near Low Gap road on the border of Cold Spring and Alexandria after he allegedly stole a semi-truck in Sharonville, Ohio.
A police pursuit ensued there and into Kentucky, resulting in multiple vehicles being struck, including at least one police cruiser.
According to police, a Fort Thomas cruiser was hit during the pursuit, which began in Newport and traveled into Ohio before ending in Alexandria.

The road, which is now open to traffic, was closed for nearly three hours.
Police are still on scene searching through the wooded area in that location.
Alexandria Police issued a notification on their Nixle service: “If you happen to see anyone walking this time of day that might look muddy, wet, etc., please call 911 immediately.”
