River Road in Villa Hills is completely closed after a tanker overturned spilling more than 7,000 gallons of diesel fuel.

According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet – District 6 office, police have the area completely blocked off as fire and EMS respond.
Drivers should take an alternate route to reach your destination such as Bromley Crescent Springs Road, Amsterdam Road, and Highwater Road.
A shelter-in-place advisory had been issued for nearby homes and businesses, but was lifted a couple of hours later.
The road could be closed for eight to ten hours.
