The first Campbell County Conservation District Bale Trail event is over and the votes are tallied.
The bale trail event let people drive Campbell County’s scenic backroads and discover hay bale displays crafted by local farms and families. After viewing the bales, people could vote for their favorite. The winners were announced on the Campbell County Conservation District’s Facebook on Oct. 20.
The winners were:
- First place: Mary Kremer (#3)
- Second place: Justin Geiman (#15)
- Third place: Harden Whiskey Ridge (#4)
- District pick: Huck Farm (#9)
All of the bale trail displays can be viewed on the conservation district’s Facebook.
First place was awarded $200, and the second-place prize was $100.
