LUDLOW, Ky. — The League of Women Voters of Northern Kentucky and Ludlow Historic Society will host a nonpartisan Meet the Candidates Forum on Monday, Oct. 26, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ludlow High School Auditorium.

All candidates in the Ludlow mayoral and City Council races have been invited to participate. The races are nonpartisan, and the co-hosting organizations do not endorse or oppose candidates or political parties.

Attendees should enter through the school’s main doors at 150 Adela Ave. Doors will open at 6:05 p.m.

The City Council candidates forum will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to last approximately one hour. The mayoral candidates forum will follow immediately afterward.

“Schools are not only places where academic learning occurs, but also vibrant hubs where civic duty, engagement and democratic values are modeled for our students every day,” said Dr. Jason Steffen, Superintendent of Ludlow Independent Schools. “We are thrilled to welcome candidates and community members into our doors to foster open, meaningful dialogue on the issues shaping the future of our city.”
Steffen added that encouraging participation in local elections helps young people recognize the power of their voices and strengthens the community’s shared commitment to a more connected Ludlow.
