The blessing and official unveiling of the newest Safe Haven Baby Box, located at Central Campbell Fire District, 4113 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring is taking place on Sept. 28.
The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. The blessing marks the 475th Safe Haven Baby Box in the nation and the 71st in Kentucky, expanding access to safe, anonymous surrender options for mothers in crisis.
“We are the only organization providing complete anonymity and we want these mothers to know we are there for them and their infant before and following a surrender,” said Safe Haven Baby Boxes Founder Monica Kelsey.
The public is encouraged to attend this community event and learn more about how the boxes help protect vulnerable infants and support parents who choose a safe, legal alternative in moments of crisis.
