FLORENCE, KY — September 17, 2026 — As part of a nationwide initiative spanning over 300 Guitar Center locations, the
Florence store has officially selected local multi-genre artist John T. Rohrig IV as its featured act for the “Local Legends” showcase.
In a special community contribution to kick off the regional series, Rohrig will perform a live, exclusive set this Thursday evening.

Rohrig’s showcase is intentionally crafted to be healing-focused—delivering acoustic compositions and arrangements designed to
soothe the nervous system, relax the body and mind, and foster restorative well-being for listeners, vocalists, and fellow musicians.

A prominent figure across Ripley and Decatur counties, Rohrig was awarded a performance scholarship at Xavier University this
year. His musical background includes award-winning tenures with Oldenburg Academy’s Concert Choir and Academy Singers,
alongside early years performing throughout local Tri-State churches and care facilities. Rohrig’s pedigree features wins at
Batesville’s Idol, Brookville’s Canoefest Idol, and OA’s Talent Show, alongside recognized regional work in canine behavior
modification after training under specialist Cesar Millan.
