Covington, Kentucky — Grab your walking shoes: NAMI Northern Kentucky is bringing NAMIWalks NKY back to Pioneer Park on Saturday, Oct. 3, and everyone’s invited. This year’s walk carries a simple, powerful message: Mental Health for All.

The morning is about showing up for each other. Every registration and donation helps keep NAMI NKY’s support groups, education programs and crisis resources free for anyone in Northern Kentucky who needs them. It takes a community to help each other, and walking together — neighbor next to neighbor — is a reminder that no one has to face mental illness alone.

It won’t just be a walk, either. Families can expect face painting for the kids, food, and a genuinely fun morning outdoors at Pioneer Park. Lunch is on LaRosa’s Family Pizzeria, who’s generously donating pizza for the whole crowd. The event is made possible thanks to sponsors St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Transitions Inc. and NorthKey Community Care.

Whether you want to walk solo, build a team with friends or coworkers, or just come out to support, everyone’s welcome. Sign up or donate at namiwalks.org/northernkentucky, and follow along for updates and ways to get involved at facebook.com/NAMINorthernKY.
