The so-called Covington Texas Turnaround, which loops drivers around a series of left turns from 4th Street to exit onto the Brent Spence Bridge toward Cincinnati, will permanently close in October as part of the Brent Spence Corridor Project, a representative from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet informed LINK nky Monday.

The Texas Turnaround began service in 2022. As a replacement, the project will reopen the original 4th Street exit that turns right directly onto the bridge.
