The Northern Kentucky Young Professionals, a program of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, is accepting applications for the 2025 Next Generation Leader Awards.
The awards honor young professionals ages 40 and under for accomplishments in their field and contributions to the community.
Nominees will be recognized in one of 11 categories, based on primary job responsibilities:
- Advocacy and Government Affairs – Lobbyists, policy advocates, legislative aides, civic engagement leaders, and related roles.
- Arts, Entertainment & Hospitality – Visual and performing arts, tourism, restaurants, hotels, retail, museums, and related fields.
- Education – Teachers, school administrators, coaches, and school board members.
- Entrepreneurship – Start-ups, business owners, and small business incubators.
- Media and Marketing – Public relations, marketing, content creation, graphic design, and related communications roles.
- Medical & Healthcare Services – Physicians, nurses, healthcare administrators, and related positions.
- Professional Services – Accounting, banking, insurance, architecture, commercial development, financial planning, legal, real estate, and other business services.
- Public Service and Community-Based Organizations – Nonprofit workers, first responders, social workers, public sector employees, and armed services members.
- Skilled Trades – Manufacturing, construction, electrical work, and related trades.
- Technology – Software development, information security, data analysis, and related fields.
- Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain – Logistics coordination, operations management, driving, and related roles.
Applications are due Oct. 1. Finalists and award winners will be recognized at a ceremony Nov. 20 at The Carnegie in Covington.
