The City of Florence is excited to invite the community to celebrate Independence Day on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Florence Government Center located at 8100 Ewing Blvd. This free, family friendly event will feature live music, delicious food, a Kids Zone, and a spectacular fireworks display to close out the evening.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., with activities, food vendors, and entertainment for all ages. “Under the Sun” will take the stage from 7:00 to 9:45 p.m., performing an electric mix of rock & roll covers from classic hits to today’s favorites. At 8:00 p.m., “Under the Sun” will break for a special intermission performance by the Florence Community Band, bringing a patriotic flair to the evening.
The night will wrap up with a breathtaking fireworks show by Elite Pyrotechnics at 10:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the fireworks display will take place on Friday, July 4 at 10:00 p.m.
An exciting lineup of local food trucks will be serving crowd favorites all evening, including Phat Daddy’s Eats to Treats, Papa Pat’s Hotdogs & Catering, Dreamys Ice Cream, Poseidon Pizza, Taqueria Nico and Kona Ice. Kids can enjoy a variety of activities in the designated play area, while families relax and enjoy a full evening of festive summer fun.
