The Pregnancy Care Network of Northern Kentucky is hosting a community baby shower for people in need Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Boone County Extension Enrichment Center in Burlington.

The network is a partnership of nonprofit, charitable and healthcare organizations, including the Diocese of Covington, St. Elizabeth Healthcare and Cincinnati Children’s, all working to bring resources to families in the region.

This baby shower will include free tote bags for new and expectant parents in attendance plus opportunity to connect with community resources that include child and infant health and safety information, educational information and maternity care, according to a press release from the Diocese of Covington.

New and expectant parents will also receive free diapers, wipes, baby clothing and accessories. They can also enter a raffle to receive large baby items such as strollers, car seats, wagons, highchairs and cribs.
