The Patriot Boot Camp, a three-day entrepreneurship crash course for veterans, is coming to the Disabled American Veterans in Erlanger this week.

DAV Patriot Boot Camp provides veterans and local small business owners with a free entrepreneurship education, one-on-one mentorship with leading business experts, networking and a pitch competition with thousands of dollars in non-dilutive funds up for grabs.

In addition to local business leaders and small business owners, celebrity chef and restaurateur Robert Irvine will be present all three days. Irvine will serve as a mentor and a panelist for the pitch competition with $10,000 up for grabs.

The boot camp will be from Wednesday, May 14 through Friday, May 16 at 860 Dolwick Dr. in Erlanger. Wenesday and Thursday, programming will start at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m.

After presentations end, the DAV is hosting a team-building event at Velocity ESports in Newport on Wednesday and a community networking event at Braxton Brewing Union on Thursday. On Friday, programming will last from 8 a.m. to noon.
