The Newport Commissioners and mayor were sworn in at the commission meeting on Jan. 13.
Newport Commissioner Mike Radwanski, Vice Mayor Julie Smith-Morrow, Commissioner Ken Rechtin, and newly elected Commissioner Aaron Sutherland, along with Mayor Tom Guidugli Jr., were sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Michelle Keller.
The commissioner’s term will run from 2025-2027, and the mayor’s term will run from 2025-2029.
Smith-Morrow, who has already served one term as a commissioner, received the most votes this time, making her vice mayor, which was made official during the meeting.
