Bellevue is hosting its annual tree-lighting celebration this weekend. The city is bringing festive vibes this year with an artisan market.
Kicking off the event, Bellevue-Dayton Fire/EMS will escort Santa, giving the public two chances to see him. At 3 p.m., Santa will stop by Sage & Scout to pick up letters to Santa.
At 5 p.m., Santa will be at the city tree and artisan market at 25 Fairfield Ave. for photos. From 5-7 p.m., a complimentary hot cocoa bar and coffee will be donated by Bellevue Starbucks.
The tree lighting ceremony and performance by the St. Catherine of Sienna School Choir will take place at 6 p.m.
The Bellevue/Dayton Fire Department is running its annual toy drive and will be collecting new, unwrapped gifts for ages 4-12.
The event is Saturday, Nov. 30, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Port Bellevue Parking Lot located at 25 Fairfield Ave, in Bellevue.
