Learning Grove, a legacy educational nonprofit with offices in Covington, has issued its 2024 Charity in Action Awards to Chara Fisher Jackson, executive director and CEO at Cincinnati Preschool Promise, and Sarah Vanover, policy and research director at Kentucky Youth Advocates, which is based in Louisville.

Learning Grove will honor Fisher Jackson and Vanover at its annual gala in November.

“We are incredibly proud to honor Chara and Sarah and to shine a light on their tireless dedication to early childhood and families,” said Learning Grove CEO Shannon Starkey-Taylor. “Their work has laid the foundation for a brighter, more equitable future for countless young children and families and ensures that every child has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.”

The awards honor nonprofit and charity leaders who demonstrate “remarkable service records for children and youth,” per the organization.

The event is set for Friday, Nov. 22, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza.
