Ryle hosted Highlands in a 9th Region girls volleyball matchup on Tuesday night in Union.
The Raiders prevailed 3-1 (25-17, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23) in a highly competitive match as Ryle improved to 20-4 on the season and 5-0 in region play.
Ryle was led by Lucy Trapp and Karsyn Griffin with 14 and 13 kills, respectively. Morgan Heater had 47 assists, Ariana Furuta leading the way with 35 digs. Ryle had six aces in the match, two apiece from Trapp and Heater.
Highlands dropped to 14-5 in the loss. They return to action on Thursday when they host Lloyd Memorial.
Ryle returns to action on Oct. 9 in a highly anticipated matchup with Notre Dame.
