Cooper negotiated I-75 South for a sojourn to Lexington for an encounter with Henry Clay Blue Devils.

Unbeknownst to many, the famed Kentucky statesman, Henry Clay, was a very successful breeder of horses and the blood of his horses still runs in thoroughbreds today.  Unfortunately, for the blue adversarials, after a two-hour weather delay, it was the Jaguars who got out the gate quick and galloped past Henry Clay 47-0.

The Prowl did all their damage in the first half. Jaiden Combs scored the first of his three touchdowns on the night by scampering 42 yards on the first play from scrimmage.

Combs, who finished with 3 catches for 82 yards, followed that run with two touchdown receptions all in the first quarter.

Cam O’Hara had an efficient, but brief evening, playing just two quarters due to a running clock before half, completing 8-of-9 passes for 152 yards and three touchdowns.

Aside from two touchdown tosses to Combs, O’Hara dialed up Isaiah Johnson for a 40-yard first quarter TD strike.

Keagan Maher tallied two second quarter touchdown runs, seven and 33 yards out while amassing 78 yards on seven carries.

Cooper returns home next week for a battle with crosstown rival Ryle.
