Nationally recognized pizza-focused magazine Pizza Today has announced its 2024 Pizzeria of the Year, Camporosso in Ft. Mitchell.

This popular NKY pizzeria was described as a “pizza-fueled labor of love” in the article by Pizza Today writer Jeremy White.

White lauded Camporosso for its record of philanthropy, even mentioning that the day before the Pizza Today staff stopped by the restaurant to announce they had won this award, the owner, Eric Redfield, and his wife Amy, hosted a charity event to raise funding for cancer research.

In a Facebook post from the pizzeria announcing the award, Camporosso wrote, “None of this would be possible without our wonderful employees and incredible community support. Thank you to our staff, customers, Pizza Today, Jeremy White, Josh Keown, and Denise Greer! We do not take any of this for granted – we are so blessed.”

This isn’t the first time Camporosso has been nationally recognized: in 2021, it was named best pizza in Kentucky by “Food & Wine.”

Camporosso serves up Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza out of their location at 2475 Dixie Hwy. in Fort Mitchell.
