Florence’s community photo contest will take place next week from June 3 to June 10.
First, second and third-place winners will be selected in the following three categories: people, landscapes and landmarks. The contest is open to all ages and skill levels. Competitors do not need to live in the city of Florence; the photos submitted simply need to be of subjects within the city’s bounds. Photos become property of the city upon submission, and entrants must agree to allow the city to use them for promotional and marketing materials in the future.
Entrants can send up to three photos to photocontest@florence-ky.gov between June 3 and June 10. Photos must be in JPEG or PNG format. Winners will be announced and informed at the end of June and will be featured at the city’s Art & Vendor Festival on July 20.
