Licking Pike at Scaffold Creek Bridge Crossing in Campbell County reopened on Tuesday, April 23, at 8 p.m. after being closed for 50 days while contractors installed a new structure.
While this crossing has reopened, the Kentucky Department of Transportation warns travelers to be aware of crews working on other tasks in the project area until the end of July.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience during the closure,” said the transportation cabinet via Facebook. “We know closing down any road for any length of time can be challenging for everyone involved. The good news is that this safety improvement will be used by thousands of folks every week for decades to come.’
