COVINGTON, KY – Code Kentucky, in conjunction with the Northern Kentucky Area Development District (NKADD) is inviting local tech employers to a tech roundtable discussion on Tuesday, March 19th at 3pm.
Code Kentucky is a non-profit, state-funded program that provides tech training at no cost to eligible participants. Since launching in the Northern Kentucky market in fall of 2021, over 100 participants from the area have completed a Code Kentucky course, with over 30 tech job placements recorded already.
The roundtable will include topics pertaining to employment trends in the area, thoughts on the local tech community, tech stacks and platforms that are prevalent in the region, and challenges faced when employing tech talent. The Code Kentucky team will also give an overview of their training program, and how their participants may serve as a tech talent pipeline for your company.
The event will take place at First Financial – Second Floor Meeting Room. 601 Madison Ave, Covington, KY. Members of the Code Kentucky team, as well as the local workforce board, will be leading the discussion.
