Boone County shot 51% from the field to down visiting Beechwood, 66-51 for a 9th Region win.
Boone County had three players reach double-digits in the win. Maddox Jones led the way scoring 19 points with Hunter Moore and Thomas Williams scoring 16 and 13 points, respectively, and Elijah Bodkin scoring nine.
The Rebels won the rebounding battle, 35-24. They outscored the Tigers, 9-2 in second-chance points.
Beechwood put two players in double figures. Jack Sullivan paced the Tigers with 21 points and Owen McCormack scored 15 with Carson Blackburn scoring eight.
Boone County (13-3) goes for the undisputed top seed in the 33rd District Tournament at Cooper on Friday at 8 p.m.
Beechwood (8-9) has lost three in a row. The Tigers travel to Trimble County on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The Camels recorded a sound home win behind 15 points from Izzy Jayasuriya.
Faith Whitford followed with 12 points and Kendall Augsback continued to increase her productivity, scoring 11 points as Campbell County made nine 3-pointers.
Mya Holden-Hopkins led Lloyd Memorial with 14 points. Campbell County limited Lloyd’s leading scorer Sierra McCoin to just four points.
Campbell County (13-4) has won three in a row and hosts Holy Cross on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
Lloyd Memorial (6-10) travels to Bishop Brossart on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The Thoroughbreds had 10 different players score in the convincing non-region home win.
Caroline Eaglin led the way scoring 16 points. Madison McFarland and Alaina Albrinck followed with 13 and 12, respectively, and Jaylee Brannen scored nine.
NewCath (12-5) travels to Highlands on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. game.

The Colonels defeated their 34th District opponent for the 14th straight time, shooting 52% from the field.
Catherine Buddenberg led the way with 20 points and Jordan Puitz scored nine as 10 different Colonels scored. Buddenberg leads Dixie averaging 12.2 points per game.
Dixie Heights (9-8) has won four in a row. The Colonels travel to Ursuline Academy (Ohio) on Saturday for a 12:30 p.m. game.
Villa Madonna (3-12) travels to Ludlow on Monday for a 6 p.m. game.
