For the 36th consecutive year, the free Christmas celebration and dinner tradition continues on Christmas morning at the NKY Convention Center.
Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 25. The Christmas dinner will be served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. No reservations are needed. The convention center is located at 1 W Rivercenter Blvd. in Covington.
Free parking will be available in the garage across Madison Avenue and the convention center.
The Parish Kitchen, located at 1561 Madison Avenue, Covington, also offers a Christmas day dinner (meal only) served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sleeping bag handouts will be available while supplies last.
Located on the TANK bus line, the transit authority will provide free rides to the event.
Attendees can anticipate receiving gifts, including toys for children, and can capture special moments with Santa Claus. Additional festive characters, including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, and a Great Horned Owl, will also be there.
