It’s the season, so they say, and for many of us that means the search begins for the best and most meaningful gifts. Here are our suggestions for gifts for young and old – for the easy-to-please, the hard-to-buy-for and that person who seems to have everything. We scoured Northern Kentucky in search of local, unique, unusual, simple, serene and exciting gifts.

Some have wide appeal, such as cozy socks or a sweet picture book, while others are aimed at very specific interests and hobbies. This year, we’ve included a number of experiences as well as physical gifts. Whether it’s honing your golf game, hitting a target with an axe, decorating ceramics or blending your own whiskey, these gifts are for the doers in the crowd.

Wherever possible, we stuck to small and local businesses and high-quality gifts that won’t break the bank. Now, make a list and check it twice. Happy holidays!
