NYK Health is encouraging efforts to ensure trick-or-treaters can remain safe by being seen on Halloween.
Glowsticks, reflective tape and flashlights are useful tools for use by children and adults when they’re walking around in the dark, officials said.
On average, children are more than twice as likely to be hit by a car and killed on Halloween than on any other day of the year, according to the nonprofit organization Kid Safe Worldwide.
