During Tuesday’s June 27 Boone County Fiscal Court session, the body is expected to address a resolution to approve and enact updated pay bands within the county’s compensation plan, according to the meeting agenda.
The plan establishes a minimum and maximum rate of annual compensation for all county positions and a 7% cost of living increase for all full-time employees – with the exception of Boone County Jail employees. The action would be effective July 1, 2023.
Additionally, per the meeting agenda, the Boone County Fiscal Court is also slated to address, via a separate resolution, authorization of annual compensation increases within the county’s compensation plan for Boone County Jail employees. The action would be effective July 1, 2023.
