Mayor Charlie Cleves and members of the Bellevue City Council passed a unanimous resolution in honor of the former Miller’s Fill Inn owner naming June 14 as ‘Lois Miller Day.’

Miller recently retired from the bar she purchased in the 1990s in a sale to Hickory Kentucky Wald, LLC., which owns and operates other bars in the region, including the Hannaford in Covington.

“For the past 30 years, Miller’s Fill Inn was open from noon to 2 a.m. and Lewis will now be able to enjoy her retirement and the many memories that she created,” Cleves said as he presented the award to Miller.
