The Kentucky State Board of Agriculture will meet Tuesday via video conference.
The Agriculture Board was created to promote agriculture and horticulture in the Commonwealth.
The Department is led by the Commissioner Ryan Quarles, and also consists of the Office for Administrative Services, Office of Agricultural Marketing, Office of Agricultural Policy, Office of Communications, Office for Consumer and Environmental Protection, Office of Legal Services, Office of State Veterinarian, and the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners.
The meeting Tuesday will consist of approval of board meeting minutes from the April 28 meeting; an update from Commissioner Quarles; consideration of proposed regulations that include grain and rendering; and a round table discussion by board members.
