Registration for the annual Dogwood Dash 5K is now open.
The 5K takes place through the Boone County Arboretum Saturday, April 29 at 9 a.m.
The event is held each April as the spring blooms come out of their long winter nap.
Awards, door prizes, tree seedlings and refreshments provided to participants. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Boone County Arboretum to continually improve the arboretum grounds and educational opportunities.
