The Covington Catholic Colonels are the 2014 Kentucky High School Athletic Association/Whitaker Bank Sweet 16 boys basketball champions, a first for the Park Hills school and its celebrated athletic program.

At Covington Catholic on Sunday evening the team returned, trophy in tow, as a crowd of students and supporters welcomed them back.
