The LINK nky Team of the Week for Sept. 4-10 presented by Ortho Cincy is the Scott football team.
The Eagles racked up over 1,600 votes on their way to taking the top spot, totaling over 70% of the vote.
Earning Scott Team of the Week honors was their first victory of the season in a 52-8 triumph over Holmes on Sept. 8. They had been showing signs in prior weeks with 52 points in their prior two games and put it all together against the Bulldogs.

The Eagles got their first win of the season in a 52-8 victory over Holmes on Friday night. They spread the ball around and used big plays on offense, defense and special teams to prevail.
Jordan Goff threw for two touchdowns, Trey Cook another and Goff and Boomer Klusman ran for scores. Kaymon Coleman returned a kickoff for a touchdown and also intercepted a pass while Nate Brooks, Dylan Giffen and Cameron Vice all caught touchdown passes.
The Eagles defense held Holmes to 159 yards as Klusman led the charge with seven tackles, one for loss and a sack. Giffen also intercepted a pass while Dustin Wilson recovered a fumble and Malcolm Perrin recorded two tackles for loss and a sack.
Scott has put up 104 points in their last three games as they get a week off before district play starts with Conner on Sept. 22.
